FAQ & Things you should know

Q: Do you charge for your services?

A: I pride myself in not charging a planning fee under most circumstances. I will provide up to 3 quotes for you per vacation (each quote will contain a minimum of 3 hotels/options for your trip). If we reach more than 3 formal quotes, I will have to implement a $50 planning fee. This fee will be refunded 3 days before your trip (if you book) via Venmo or PayPal. Repeat clients will never be charged a planning fee.

Q: If you don't charge a planning fee, how do you make money?

A: Suppliers (such as Disney, Sandals, etc.) will pay me directly. All suppliers include a travel agent fee in their pricing whether you use a travel agent or book on your own. Since this is already calculated in your rate, you might as well use a travel agent, like myself, so we do all the work for you! You would pay the exact same rate with me as you would booking on your own.

Q: But I found a cheaper rate on Groupon?

A: That's great! But their customer service is absolutely terrible and some of the properties they advertise are misleading. If you are spending your hard earned money on a vacation, you deserve to work with someone who is easy to get in contact with and will go to bat for you if things were to hit the fan before, during, or after your trip.

I guarantee you no one from Groupon will be answering your text messages at 2 AM. ;) .

Q: Can you work within a certain budget?

A: Yes! I work with any and all realistic budgets.

Q: Do I need travel insurance?

A: Travel Insurance is always highly recommended, but at the end of the day it is up to you if you decide to purchase travel protection or not

Q: I really need help planning my trip but would like to book everything on my own. Is that ok?

A: Short answer: no. If I plan a trip for you and you end up booking on your own, unfortunately that will be the end of our professional relationship. Remember: travel agents are commission based and do not get paid until AFTER you travel -- most commonly 30 days after you return from your trip!

Q: Will you accept a cash tip?

A: The greatest tip you could ever give is referring me to your family and friends and leaving me a 5 star review on my Facebook page.
